Terms and conditions of participation – Winter photo competition 2026, Saxon State Spas GmbH
Participation in and the execution of the Winter Photo Competition 2026 are governed by the following regulations.
1. Subject
These terms and conditions govern the execution of the Winter Photo Competition 2026 of Sächsische Staatsbäder GmbH, Badstraße 6, 08645 Bad Elster (hereinafter referred to as "the competition"). “SSB” called).
2. Conditions of participation and implementation of the competition
2.1 The Winter Photo Competition 2026 starts on December 20, 2026 at approximately 6:00 PM and ends on February 28, 2026 at approximately 11:59 PM.
2.2 Persons who are resident in Germany, Austria or Switzerland and are over 18 years of age are eligible to participate. Employees of Sächsischen Staatsbäder GmbH and other companies involved in the development and implementation of this campaign (including their family members) are excluded.
2.3 The Winter Photo Contest 2026 will be held on Instagram & Facebook. Participants enter the contest by posting a photo of their most beautiful winter moment as a registered member of Instagram or Facebook. 2.4 The winner will be chosen at random in a drawing.
2.5. The winner of the 2026 winter photo competition will receive a voucher for a day ticket to the Bad Elster bathing and sauna complex or the Bad Brambach bathing and sauna village.
2.6 Participation in the Winter Photo Competition 2026 and claiming the prize are free of charge for participants (except for travel and accommodation costs).
3. Processing
3.1 After the conclusion of the Winter Photo Competition 2026, the winner will be contacted via direct message on social media channels. In this notification, the winner will be asked to contact SSB promptly (within 36 hours) via private message or email to the provided email address. Furthermore, the winner will be asked to confirm acceptance of the prize in this private Facebook message or email.
3.2 If the winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 36 hours, the prize will be forfeited. If the contact details provided are incorrect (e.g. invalid address), SSB is not obliged to find out the correct address. Any disadvantages resulting from providing incorrect contact details are at the participant's expense.
3.3. The prize voucher is valid for one year.
3.4 Payment of the value in cash is not possible.
4Disclaimer of warranty
The Winter Photo Competition 2026 may be terminated in whole or in part or its course may be modified due to external circumstances or constraints, even without adherence to deadlines, without giving rise to any claims by the participants against the SSB.
This may include technical reasons (e.g. computer viruses, manipulation or errors in software or hardware) or legal reasons (e.g. rule changes or decisions by Facebook) that may affect the proper conduct of the competition.
5. Exclusion from participation
SSB reserves the right to exclude any participant from the 2026 Winter Photo Competition in the event of a violation of these terms and conditions. This applies in particular if the participant provides false information or if comments violate applicable law or the rights of third parties.
6. Liability
SSB’s liability is governed by statutory provisions.
7. Facebook's Terms and Conditions
7.1 In addition to these terms and conditions of participation, the relationship between SSB, the participant and Facebook is governed by the terms and conditions of participation (see https://www.facebook.com/terms.php) and Facebook's privacy policy (see https://www.facebook.com/privacy).
7.2 Participants cannot assert any claims against Facebook arising in connection with their participation in the Winter Photo Competition 2026.
7.3 The Winter Photo Competition 2026 is in no way sponsored, endorsed or organized by Facebook or Instagram, nor is it affiliated with Facebook or Instagram.
7.4 All information and data provided by or collected from participants in the Winter Photo Competition 2026 will only be made available to SSB and not to Facebook / Instagram.
7.5 All inquiries and comments regarding the Winter Photo Competition 2026 should be directed to SSB and not to Facebook / Instagram.
8. Final Provisions
Should any provision of these terms and conditions be invalid or become ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining participation and prize conditions.
9. Data protection information
SSB stores, processes, and uses the information only to the extent necessary for conducting the 2026 Winter Photo Competition or where the participant has given their consent. This also includes use for exercising the granted usage rights. The data will be used exclusively for conducting the competition and will then be deleted.
Participants can request information about their stored personal data at any time. Our privacy policy, which can be found at https://www.saechsische-staatsbaeder.de/unternehmen/datenschutz.html, also applies.
