Competition – 9 years of Soletherme Bad Elster

Terms and Conditions

Participation in the competition for the 9th birthday of the Soletherme Bad Elster and its implementation are governed by the following provisions.

1. Subject

These terms and conditions of participation regulate the conduct of the competition organized by Sächsischen Staatsbäder GmbH, Badstraße 6, 08645 Bad Elster (hereinafter referred to as “SSB”).

2. Conditions of participation and implementation of the competition

2.1 The competition begins on September 14, 2024 and ends on October 31, 2024.

2.2 Persons aged 18 and over are eligible to participate. Excluded are employees of Sächsischen Staatsbäder GmbH and other companies involved in the development and implementation of this campaign (including their family members).

2.3 The competition will be held on the SSB website at the following link: https://www.saechsische-staatsbaeder.de/freie-presseA participant takes part in the competition by completing and submitting at least the mandatory fields of the online form at the above competition URL.

2.4 Participation in the competition and claiming the prize do not entail any costs for the participants (except for costs for travel to and from the competition and meals).

3. Processing

3.1 After the competition has ended, the winners will be notified in writing by SSB. They will each be sent a voucher for the respective prize (5 or 2 nights in the 4* Hotel Goldner Anker in Bad Elster and a relaxing wellness package in the Albert Bad therapy and wellness center for 2 people, 1 brine floating day and 45 x 2 day tickets for the brine thermal baths & sauna world).

3.2 If the contact details provided by the winner are incorrect (e.g. invalid address), SSB is not obliged to find out the correct address. Any disadvantages resulting from providing incorrect contact details are at the participant's expense.

3.3 Payment of the value of the non-cash prizes in cash is not possible.

4. Exclusion of warranty

The competition may be terminated in whole or in part or modified in its course due to external circumstances or constraints, even without observing any deadlines, without this giving rise to any claims by the participants against SSB.

This may include, in particular, technical reasons (e.g. computer viruses, manipulation or errors in software or hardware) that may affect the proper conduct of the competition.

5. Exclusion from participation

The SSB reserves the right to exclude the respective participant from participating in the competition in the event of a breach of these conditions of participation. This applies in particular if the participant provides false information or comments violate applicable law or the rights of third parties.

6.  Liability

SSB’s liability is governed by statutory provisions.

7.  Final Provisions

7.1 Should any provision of the terms and conditions be invalid or become ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining participation and prize conditions.

8. Data protection information

The personal data provided by the participant will be processed to carry out and process the competition. 

The data will not be shared with third parties.

Upon written or textual request, you can request information from SSB at any time and free of charge about which personal data about you is stored by SSB. In addition, you can request that this data be corrected, blocked or deleted if the legal requirements are met.

If you have given your consent, we will also use the data to keep you informed by letter or newsletter about certain products, services or promotions.

If you have given us your consent to use, process and transmit your personal data for advertising purposes, you can revoke this consent at any time without observing a specific form or notice period with effect for the future by writing to SSB at the address given in point 9 or by telephone.

After your revocation, we will use your data exclusively to process the competition and will refrain from sending you any advertising.
