Fitness- und Motorikpark® Bad Elster

In the North Park of Bad Elster, a so-called “exercise paradise” was created for fitness and sports-oriented guests, visitors and residents. The facility is for everyone accessible and is free usable. Children under 140 cm are only allowed to enter the Bad Elster fitness and motor skills park with a supervisor.

What is meant by the Fitness and Motorikpark® Bad Elster?

The concept of the original motor skills parks^®comes from the Austrian sports scientist Dr. Roland Werthner and was developed based on sports and training scientific considerations.

The 2.500 square meter area consists of seven stations, which are divided according to the type of use. You can here a total of 32 individual devices train, including on the coordination and balancing track, running and rhythm station, balancing workshop, strength area and stretching oasis.

Classic training units for Promote strength, endurance and speed are combined with unusual exercises to promote coordination, balance, spatial orientation and rhythm.

How should you train?

It is recommended Training several times per week for at least 30 minutes. The first two stations can be used several times in a row to warm up the muscles. Sturdy shoes increase surefootedness

The effects can be short-term and long-term. Unusual and exciting new movements and variations lead to immediate and lasting adjustments to motor skills and movement potential.
