Sports massage is an extension of classic massage. The back area, arms or legs are treated here. Classic massage techniques such as kneading, rubbing and circling are complemented by stretching techniques and gentle stroking. The massage initially begins gently, followed by vigorous walking and kneading of the individual muscle areas. This prepares the body for upcoming stress and stimulates blood circulation. With this form of massage, the therapist addresses individual needs, e.g. B. can occur after sport (hardening of the muscle, cramps, tension). Sports massage is not only suitable for athletes, but also for people at work or in everyday life.
Effect: Restoration of performance, reduction of muscle tone after physical exertion, activation of the cardiovascular system, removal of waste products, promotion of mental and physical well-being.
Indication: As preparation for training and competition or following physical exertion, overexertion of the muscles after sporting activities, painful shortening of the muscles.
Duration: 40 minutes + rest afterwards
