Space exhibition in Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz

Anyone who has always wanted to know what it looks like inside a space capsule or how a cosmonaut shaves in space has come to the right place at the German Space Exhibition in Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz. After all, Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz is the birthplace of the first German cosmonaut, Sigmund Jähn. An entire room was dedicated to him as an honorary, which, in addition to biographical facts, also offers personal items such as an original space suit and various research equipment. The program also includes a historical overview of astronomical findings from Copernicus through to the first flight and rocket experiments, which can be enhanced by a visit to the space cinema. A planetary park and a space travel playground in the outdoor area make the visit an experience for all generations.
