Musical instrument making in Markneukirchen

The Markneukirchen Musical Instrument Museum is one of the most important of its kind in Europe. The collection includes around 3.200 musical instruments from all over the world and is located in a late baroque town house, the Paulus Schlösschen, which gives the visit a very special flair.

The history of handcrafted instrument making in Markneukirchen and the surrounding area is presented in detail. Every year numerous guests from home and abroad visit the unique exhibition.

Every last Sunday in August you can look over the shoulders of the instrument makers from 10:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m.
