Göltzschtal Bridge near Reichenbach
The 574 meter long and 78 meter high Göltzschtal Bridge has long been called the eighth wonder of the world because, with 26 million bricks, it is the largest brick bridge in the world and is still in use today. The bridge is presented to the viewer in its original condition and appearance. It is characterized by the flawless craftsmanship of the masonry, the clean jointing and the perfect fit of the individual stones.
