Horse-drawn carriages in Bad Elster

Every Pentecost Sunday, the popular and grand "EQUIPAGE Bad Elster – Noble Horses and Historic Carriages" takes place. Due to Bad Elster's royal Saxon tradition, the event places particular emphasis on historical significance. In the morning, approximately 30 historic horse-drawn carriages are presented in style in front of the Royal Spa House. Following a grand parade of all participants and a spectacular obstacle driving competition, the afternoon's festivities continue in Paul-Schindel-Park with a diverse program, including a historical carriage theater performance.
