General terms and conditions of use
Training Center Bad Elster / Colonnades Bad Brambach

Terms of Service

1. The Saxon State Spas GmbH (SSB), Badstraße 6, 08645 Bad Elster, operates the following facilities:

  • Bad Elster training center, Badstraße 2, 08645 Bad Elster
  • colonnades, Badstraße 38, 08648 Bad Brambach

A contract between SSB and the member/user is concluded upon signing a membership agreement or using the facilities as part of another offer.

2. Use of the training facilities

2.1 Care
The training facilities usually have staff on staff. The instructions of the staff must be followed.
During unattended opening hours, use is at your own risk. The equipment must be used in accordance with the user's physical and health condition.

2.2 Terms of Use

  • Use only in sportswear and clean, sturdy footwear
  • A towel should always be used underneath you during training.
  • Disinfect cardio equipment after use.
  • Put away weights and weight plates after use
  • Talking on the phone in the training area is not permitted.
  • Glass bottles and glasses are prohibited in the training area, wet areas and changing rooms for safety reasons.

2.3 Transponder band
The transponder band is issued by SSB.
The transponder band becomes the property of the members upon commencement of the contract.
Other users pay a deposit of € 20,00, which will be refunded upon return.
In case of loss or damage, the user shall bear the costs of replacement:

  • Members: € 30,00
  • Other users: € 20,00

2.4 Eligibility for Use
The entitlement applies exclusively to the member specified in the contract or the purchaser of a 10-wristband and is not transferable.

3. Membership & Fees

The monthly membership fee is due on the 1st of each month. A fee will be charged for chargebacks caused by the member. € 10,00 to (including chargeback and processing).

3.1 Contract duration
The start date of membership is determined by the contract.
Membership ends when they Terminated in writing 1 month before the end of the minimum contract period The contract will be renewed monthly unless cancelled, with a notice period of one month to the end of the month.

3.2 Suspension of membership
A leave of absence is possible by mutual agreement in the following cases:

  • proven long-term illness (from 4 weeks)
  • Pregnancy

The contract term will be extended accordingly. Short-term illnesses or impediments (e.g., vacation) do not entitle the employee to a suspension of the contract.

3.3 Parking & other authorizations
Members can use the following free of charge during training hours:

  • the parking garage in Bad Elster
  • the parking area in Bad Brambach
    Depending on the tariff, additional permissions may exist.
    All users must comply with the bathing, sauna and parking regulations.

4. Video surveillance

Certain areas of the buildings (e.g., entrance, training room) are under video surveillance.
This serves solely for the purpose of preventing, investigating, and averting danger. not user monitoring.

5. Liability

SSB is liable for personal injury in accordance with legal requirements.
SSB is liable for material and financial damage only in cases of intentional or grossly negligent conduct by its agents.
Liability is limited to the coverage amounts of the business liability insurance.

6. Force majeure

If SSB is unable to provide services due to force majeure or circumstances beyond its control, there is no entitlement to compensation.

7. Violations

In cases of serious violations (e.g., bringing along non-members), the SSB can terminate the contract without notice.
In these cases, claims for contributions and damages can be asserted.

Privacy Policy

Member data is processed in accordance with the GDPR.
Details can be found in the “Information on data processing at the training center Bad Elster / Colonnades Bad Brambach”, which will be handed out at the start of the contract.

9. Severance clause

Should one provision be invalid, the remainder of the contract shall remain valid.
In place of the ineffective provision, an agreement corresponding to its meaning shall apply; otherwise, the statutory provisions shall apply.
