Die Sächsische Staatsbäder GmbH was founded as a subsidiary of the Free State of Saxony in 1991. Its two branches in Bad Elster and Bad Brambach are the only State Spas in Eastern Germany. The two therapeutic baths form a mutual centre for wellness, cure, culture and sports. Due to their over 150-year cure tradition and their medical competence they are the centre of the Vogtlandian spa region.
The Sächsische Staatsbäder GmbH sees itself as a central touristic operator and promoter of the life of the spa town. The following are some of the business areas of our company: operation of the modern therapy and health centres as well as the generously spaced wellness areas in Bad Elster und Bad Brambach, the bath and sauna worlds "Elsterado" und "Aquadon", of the medical training and exercise centre "mobilixx" , of the conservation of the natural remedies moor and mineral water as well as the permanent maintenance of the historic spa gardens in both health resorts.
The Saxon Spas offer their guests a variety of traditional cure services, as moor baths and wraps, carbonic acid and radon baths or classic massages. Likewise, we offer manifold wellness treatments from chocolate bath, beer bath, rose petal bath via hot stone sensitive massage, Thai steam-heated herb pouch massage and well-being massage to the oriental nourishing ceremony "rasul" or a nourishing soft pack treatment.
